Terms and Conditions
You - The Customer
Sadie Jane Furniture - SJF
Orders; Taxes
The Customer is responsible for the sales price and all other taxes associated with the order. The Customer's credit card will be charged within 24-72 hours after an order is placed. SJF has a pre-pay policy for protection against fraudulent orders.
Delivery
On most larger deliveries, a shipping company will contact the Customer to schedule delivery. If this is the case, the Customer is responsible for arrangements in regards to scheduling product delivery. Depending on the product's manufacturer, the Customer may need to make arrangements for moving the product into the premises. If order arrives damaged, the Customer must note it on the delivery paperwork that is signed and contact SJF as soon as possible. If the shipment is obviously severely damaged, the Customer should refuse the shipment from the freight company.
Return Policy
SJF will accept returns with a 30% restocking fee. To return an item, the product must be returned in new condition and in the original packaging. Customer agrees to pay for return shipping. SJF will not pay any shipping bills associated with returns. If an item needs parts for replacement, contact SJF customer service department for details. If the Customer insists on a refund, this will fall under our normal return policy and SJF would charge a 30% restocking fee and returned shipping.
Cancellation Policy
If the Customer's order is canceled before it is produced and/or shipped, there is no cancellation fee. However, if the product has been shipped, the Customer will be responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping charges as well as a restocking fee of 30% (see "Return Policy"). These charges will be deducted from your refund.
Paying by Check
To pay by check, the Customer must contact SJF customer service and submit the order information (item number and details). Orders will pend until checks are processed.
Product Assembly
Most SJF furniture is assembled, but some of it may require assembly.
Shipping to Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska
If ordering from Canada, Alaska, or Hawaii, the Customer may be subject to additional charges. SJF will contact the Customer with these details, if applicable. Charges are due before processing the Customer's order with the manufacturer. Some items may not be shippable to those locations. If this is a concern of the Customer, contact SJF for further details.
Accuracy of Colors
Accuracy of colors is shown to the best of SJF's ability. However, colors can vary by monitor type and age, video card differences, printing , and other such variations. |
